Voice Recital
Okayyy so I just got back from my voice recital. Katie and I did two duets, it was so much funnn. Even though some of you who said you would come but didn't (coughDustin&Drewcough), it was still awesome. We basically bombed the first duet (even though our parents insisted that it was awesome...but they're our parents, they have to say that), the second duet was basically amazing. It's that one that we were practicing on ASP for like 3 hours that one night after worship, haha.
Other than that, I've been to the pool (I got an huge sunburnn on my chest when I kinda fell asleep in the sun when I was at the pool yesterday...but it doesn't even begin to compare to Katie's burn), been to cheerleading (we have these practices for the upcoming freshman at 8 in the morning...you can just picture how extremely excited and enthusiastic I am at that lovely hour...in the summer), walked my dog a LOT, etc. etc. I've had a really great summer so far...and I've really been loving the excessive amount of sleep I'm getting =). Today I totally slept all the way through the 11:11 service, even though I was supposed to go, haha. Ohh how I love summer.
Currently I'm at Tessa and Haley's house. We're talking about names, like what we'd name our kids, what names we hate and like, etc., and Tessa is singing really loud to these random songs and drawing me these lovely self portraits that are awesome, but look nothing like me. Haha, I just re-read that and noticed the randomness of that sentence. Oh well, it basically describes our friendship. Julia and I have been friends with them since we were pretty much born. They're basically hysterical, I'll have to bring them to VI one time, you all would love them.
I'm very excited for VI this week. I hate that there's no small groups, I get to only see you guys once a week. Someone told me that technically I see you all twice a week, if you count church. But I don't since not all of go to church, and you can't talk for the majority of it. This week at VI is family group meetings, so be sure to go, it's sure to be funn! Even if you're not going on Elevaiton, feel free to come and sit in on some meetings, it'll still be fun.
Again, this was a pretty pointless blog. But it's summer, and not much is going on. And I think I kind of lose all of my writing skills when I no longer have Mrs. Lowery screaming at me (well, not at me, just in general. I'm in the first row, and she tends to be overly-vocal at 7:45 in the morning) first bell and making me focus on English. But I definitely like that, haha. The school year is so incredibly insane, and I adore the break.
Elevation = 15 DAYS! Gahhh, I'm so incredibly excited!
Okayyy wellll I have to go now. Tessa is reading over my shoulder, haha. She says hello =).
Love you lotssss,

Eh, I'd say you have a fighting chance against the Meadows-Johnson Powerhouse. But a team is only as strong as its weakest link... and Miss Gaburo, you are the weakest link!
