Friday
Sooo...it's been awhile.
Okay. So it's Friday. It's been a REALLY great day today.
-First off, I have four more days of school. Can you say EXCITED?
-I presented a Romeo and Juliet monologue today in front of my Language Arts Class, in which I spoke the part of Romeo and professed my love to Juliet. Yes. Very awkward. But I said it without notecards or anything and only messsed up once, and got a really good grade on it, which actually plesantly surprised me =)
-I made Showstoppers, (which is this singing and dancing group that you have to try out for) along with Katie K, Hannah, and Drew. You should've seen me, I was basically jumping up and down, squealing. Classic.
-I got a 95.5% on my huge Bioethics research paper (you know, the one that I had mentioned months ago, that kept me inside on all those glorious snowdays). Everyone in my class did really well, it was so exciting!
-Freshman year is almost over! Don't get me wrong, this year was absolutely AWESOME, and I had so much fun. But, it's going to be nice not to be at the very bottom of the ladder, if you know what I mean.
-Elevation is exactly ONE month from today! I have been on two Elevations, and they've both been totally different, but absolutely amazing. This year's retreat sounds so awesome, I honestly can't WAIT!
-I saw Mamma Mia last night. If you haven't seen it, you definitely should. It was absolutely AWESOME, I haven't stopped singing all the songs for 24 hours now. Plus, it's a surprisingly and unexpectedly hilarious musical.
Okay, I think that's all the noteworthy happy stuff that happened to me today. Like I said...it's been an awesome day =)

Allright, now onto a different topic. Soo I'm kind of stealing this one from Acheson, so I'm sorry Chris. Anywayy...
Okay, for all of you kids who watched the Grey's Anatomy season finale (which, by the way, was EXTREMELY depressing and frustrating. But, don't get me started on that topic, I could rant for hours), do you remember the very last song that was played? It was basically the only good thing about the episode. Anywhoo, I have this slight obsessive disorder that I have to find the name of a song if I hear it and I like it. So I spent about half an hour Googling the lyrics I remember hearing, searching for playlists from the episode, etc. Then, on this one random website, I found the name of the song. It was called "Keep Breathing" by Ingrid Michaelson. It's really really pretty, and has good piano.
So, wanting to find about about Ingrid Michaelson, I Google her too. She's basically my age, maybe a year or two older. Here's her Myspace if you want to find out more about her. You can also play Keep Breathing on her website. Unfortunately you can't buy it on iTunes until the Grey's Anatomy soundtrack comes out in September. However, you can buy her other albums on iTunes. She has two CD's, Girls and Boys (her most recent), and Slow the Rain. My two favorite songs by her are "Corner of Your Heart" and "A Bird's Song". Ingrid has the prettiest voice, it's really soft and clear. Just listen to her, you'll see what I mean. I'm kind of addicted to her music, it's funny.
Allriiight, this blog is basically a bajillion lines long. But what can I say, I had a lot to tell you guys =). Okay, I'll hopefully see all of you next Wednesday, I love you!
Mass love,
